North Fm (6″) was formerly Edwards or Eddowes field and Baalands ; Ballandes in 1460 and Baalands in 1830, from the family of John Ballond (1539); Richard Edward 's meadow in 1593. The modern name derives from the family of John North (1717 Loughton).
