Loughton Bridge (6″) is pontem de Hynekesford 13thWalthamA and Luctonebregge 1400Ct . 'Hynec 's ford.' This is the strong form of the pers. name Hynca which occurs in LVD, v. Redin 156, and is the first element in Hinckley (Lei).
