'Othulf 's spur of land,' v. hoh . Othulf is an Anglo-Scandinavian pers. name corresponding to ON  Auðúlfr . Cf. Othulvesheye in Totham (1271 FF) and Othuluesmede in Roydon which was in the tenure of John Outhulf (13thWalthamC ).
