(1372) ChrP , William de Carent (h )am 1243 1276 Banco, Henry de Carenteym 1251 FF. All Hallows is from the dedication of the former church here (site marked 6″), once the mother church (v. St Giles's Church infra , Hutch3 3 602), cf. 'the church of Vpwymburn '1249 FF, ecclesiam de Vpwymborn '1268Ass , capell ' de Wynborn Sanctorum 1394Midd . The manor here known as Brytys place in 1430 (also Brittes Place 1556 Hutch3) takes its name from the family of Ralph le Bret 1249 FF, n.d. (1372) ChrP , Thomas le Bret , William le Bret 1294 FF, John Bryt 1385 Hutch3, 1430 IpmR, v. place , Hutch3 3 601.
