Hnott (a ) (cf. hnott 'bare, bald') and -ingtūn , with ēast , west ; the strong form of the pers.n. is found in Natsley D 58 and Natsworthy D 528, the weak form is possible in Hnottan forð BCS 1217 and Hnottan mæræ BCS 491 (cf. Brk 780).
