Etymology
Swanage was included in the ecclesiastical par. of Worth Mat. until c. 1500 (Hutch3 1656). A small part of Langton Mat. par. was transferred to Swanage in 1933 (Kelly), and there have also been small changes in the bdy between Swanage and Studland since 1839TA .
