'Blaeberry enclosure,' v. þveit , carrying back the word blaeberry some 200 years earlier than NED. Some forms seem to have been influenced by confusion with a lost Blaykwhayt 1279Ass , Blaykethueyt 1285For , 1350 Orig, Blakthwayte 1437 IpmR, in the neighbourhood.
