Burden Grange (lost) is grangia de Burchesdan 't. Hy 2 (1508) Pat, Boruedene c. 1240Clare , Burgdene grange 1337 ib., Burdon graunge 1344 Cl, Burwedene 1390 ib., Burghden Grange 1501 EA vii, Burden , Burden Graunge 16thPembroke , 1554 EA viii. 'The denu or valley by burh or Burrough Green.' This was a grange of Wardon Abbey.
