The Hall, 1841TA , Halle 1273–4RentSur (p). This is the name of a small wood on the S. boundary of Letcombe Regis parish. Little Hall is a tiny conifer plantation a short distance to the N. h(e)all 'hall' does not seem appropriate. A possible alternative is OE h(e)all 'rock'.
