Gosford Green (6″) is Gosseforde 1246, 1301 CovCh, Gosfordegrene 1326Coventry , taking its name from a ford over Goseford brook c. 1185 (1348) Ch. 'Goose ford.' The place also gave name to Gosford St supra 162.
