Hill Ash and Hill Lane

Etymology
Hill Ash and Hill Lane (6″) were perhaps the homes of Walter atte Hulle and Peter atte Nassh , taxed under East Harting in 1332 (SR). Walter was assessed in South Harting in 1296 (SR).
