Burberry Lane (SY 953805), 1783DROMap , named from Burbarrow 1545 Hutch3, 1774 Hutch1, 1861 Hutch3, cf. Burberry Ctg , Hr Burberry Md , Lr Burberry Md 1844TA , 'hill with a cottage', v. būr 1 , beorg , cf. Burbarrow Lane in Gl 3 69. Hutch3 1526 describes Burbarrow as 'a small tenement in West Lynch, on the north side of the south hill between Kingston and Blachenwell'.
