Cf. Cotton Abbotts 111supra , v. parva . The manorial affix is from Edmund de Coton 1344Vern , lord of this moiety, cf. Orm2 ii785.The intrusive 'Saint' is matched by that in Mottram St Andrew 1202, and Lach Dennis 2186.
