( 6 ″ ) . Cf. Blackbird Sarts c. 1840TA . There is also a Blackepitt Sarte 1608–9Survey , Great and Little Blackpit Assarts c. 1840TA , and it is possible that the former name is a corruption of the latter . As they both appear in the TA , however , they may refer to different places , v. sart .
