Richey Field (6″) is Richey (e ), Rychey (e )1221ElyA et freq to 1353 Sacr, Recheye 1338 ib., Richeyfield 1570 Imb. Probably 'low-lying land by the stream,' v. ēg and OE  *rīc , found in Chatteris supra 247.
