Hogs Mill (6″) is Hoggs Myll 1535 VE, Hoggesmyll 1564 SAC viii, and is to be associated with the family of John Hog (1179 Merton). For the Hogs Mill River, v. supra 4, and cf. le Hoggesbrug 1331 AD i, also in this parish.
