Rushey Bank (6″). Cf. Ruschemere 1363 Eynsh, which is said to be “tendens in Ryschemereslade,” Rushmore , Rushmore coppice 1608–9Survey . 'Rush lake,' to which (ge)lād, 'watercourse,' has been added in the second of the 1363 forms. v. rysc , mere .
