Bride Hall is Bridelle t. Hy 2 (1462) Dugd ii, 1294, 1307SR (p), Brydell 1489 Ipm, 1521AddCh , 1533–8 ECP, Bridelhide 1539 VCH ii, 435, Bridells al. Bridalls 1762Recov . Perhaps 'dell of the young birds' (v. bridd ), though in that case we should have expected a short vowel. See hid infra 245.
