Mangrove Green is Manegrave 1240FF , t. Ed 1 BM, Mangraveffeld 1532 Moulton. This must be 'thicket in common use or possession,' from OE  gemǣne , 'common,' and græfe. Cf. the history of Monwood (PN Wa 76). The place is near the county boundary.
