Etymology

Plummers is Plumers al. Plumbers 1597 FF, Plumer Farm c. 1840TA and was the home of Thomas de Plummere (1272WAM ) and Alice de Plumere (1307SR ). This is probably 'pool by the plum-tree,' v. mere , the s being pseudo-manorial.
