Patient End is Paynottys al. Payneston 1434 IpmR, hamlet called Paynstone in the parish of Pellam Furneaux 1554CtRequests , Payston Ende 1557Deeds Enrolled , Patient End 1676 S. This is 'Payn 's farm,' a post-Conquest tun-formation. There is no reason to doubt that this is the Payn who held one hide of the Bishop of London in Pelham in DB.
