Holbrook (ST 594100), Holbrook 1811 OS, 1840TA , probably to be associated with Holebrok (e )1280Ass , 1329 Ipm both (p), 'brook running in a hollow', v. hol 2 (wk.obl. -an ), brōc , cf. Holebrook in Lydlinch par. 3 348; a small stream is marked 6″.
