Westover Bridge & Westover Fm (SY 360950), Westouer '1332 SR, Westover 1811 OS, Westover Estate 1842TA , cf. Ralph de Westhover 1241 (15) Forde , John (de ) Westovere e13Pole , 1251–2 Fees, 1422Ct , John Westour '1250 Fees, probably 'west river-bank', from west and ōfer with reference to the situation of the farm just to the W of a stream (a tributary of R. Char) where it is crossed by the bridge, cf. E Stour & W Stour 368, Southover 1332.
