Densham Fm (ST 679118), Denesham 1332 SR (p), Densham 1516Digby (p), 1550PlR , 1811 OS, probably 'Dene's enclosure or river-meadow', from the OE  pers.n. Dene (cf. Denstone St (DEPN), Redin 6) and hamm .
