Woodbury D 601, Woodborough Nt 180; for the earthwork here (called forte in 1617Add and marked as Camp 6″), v. Hutch3 1135, RCHMDo 2 485–6, cf. Anchoret's Chapel infra . Fägersten 70 identifies (on ) windee bergh 943 (15) ShaftR (S 490) with Woodbury Hill, but this is not possible as pointed out by Grundy 5 100, v. under Almer par. infra . For the identification of the form Windebyre , v. Fägersten 70, and for its spelling cf. Woodstreet in Wool par. supra .
