Hembury Fm & Hembury Mill (SY 525931), Higher Hembury , Lower Hembury (farms)1774 Hutch1, East Hemberry Court Place Farm 1845TA , West Hemberry Farm 1845TA , Higher Hemberry 1845TA , Hemberry Mead 1845TA , earlier terrade Hembir 'm13Brid , Hymbry 1609 Hutch3, possibly identical in origin with Henbury 247, from hēah (wk.obl. hēan ) 'high, chief' and burh (dat.sg. byrig ) 'fortified dwelling, manor-house'. There were two mills at Askerswell in 1086 DB (VCHDo 381).
