'Cuc (c )a 's burh.' This pers. name is not on record but is apparently found in cucanhealas (BCS 936) in a Gloucestershire charter. Cf. also cuceleshylle (KCD 741) in a Dorsetshire charter, involving apparently a diminutive of this name.
