It takes its name from Maddinglemor 1309CCC .Burley Wash is the manor of Burlewas al. Shire Manor c. 1630 Landwade, Burleywash al. Moorbarnes farm c. 1700 ib., so called from the family of William le Burdeleis (1199 CurR). v. Addenda lx.
