Kent (es )ford is Kentford (Sf), also on the Kennett, sometimes stated to be in Cambridgeshire.For Badlingham v. supra 190. farye is presumably for ferye , 'ferry,' with reference to some small ferry across the Kennett. For such an early use of the word cf. PN BedsHu 294.
