Etymology

OE  Hrōðwlfes -hām , 'Hrothwulf's ham.' The history is the same as that of Rousham (O), except that the full form of the latter was preserved much longer than that of the present name.See the forms in Alexander (PN O). Rolleston (St) also contains OE  Hrōðwulf .
