Went Hill, Weneteshil 1180–1200Nost 19, Wenteshill c. 1200, 14 ib 17, 18d. 'Hill by the Went', v. R. Went (RNs.), hyll . The hill is a steep-sided lofty ridge running along the Little Went for about a mile.
