Pipehalle commonly called Pipe Orcharde 1613BirmDeed .This name, like Pipe (St), was probably applied to a stream or watercourse, possibly artificial, but the making of the railway has disorganised the natural drainage and it is no longer possible to follow the course of the stream here.
