Hampden Park
Early-attested site in the Parish of Willingdon
Etymology
Hampden Park is a modern district which has arisen within the last thirty years. It was a part of the Ratton estate and takes its name from the family of Lord Hampden, the owner of that manor (SAC 57, 227).
