Stammerham Fm (6″) is Stamerham 1255 FF, 1271Ass (p), 1288Ass . 'Homestead or enclosure by the stony mere.' It faces a lake and is the site of an ancient quarry for Horsham stone (SxNQ 1, 29). v. stan , mere , ham(m).
