Etymology

Rickfield Fm (6″) is Ryckefeud in 1279 (Ass ). No form rycke for OE  hrēac , 'rick,' is known anything like so early as 1279.Rickford and Rickhurst (Sr), Rykford 1330 FF, Rykhurst 1332 SR suggest, however, the probability of a significant word.
