Etymology

Langley Hill (6″). Cf. Langley Ground c. 1840TA . Row Barrow is the Roberrow 1676 (c. 1700) BodlT : 'rough tumulus,' v. rūh , be(o)rg: a round barrow was opened in 1854 (VCH O 11, 347).

StourWell is so named 1797 Davis: the river Stour rises here.
