Etymology

Churchill Ho is Chirchehul n.d. AD iv, t. Ed 3Rental , Churkehul n.d. AD iv, Chirchehil 1304, Chyrchehyl 1313 AD iv. 'Hill with the church,' v. cirice . The name might have been given by the people of Daventry to the south.
