Etymology

'Bealdhere's farm', from the OE  pers.n. Bealdhere and tūn, with brycg , brōc and loge . The drive & lodge lead to Eaton Park 148supra . Cf. Greenwalls infra . The bridge may be 'the bridge of Baldert ' '1170 Morris 5. The brook joins R. Dee v. Addenda.
