Warmingham
Parish in the County of Cheshire
Etymology
Warmingham parish contained the townships 1. Elton, 2. Moston (v. foll.), 3. Tetton (now a c.p. including Moston), 4. Warmingham. In DB only Tetton is mentioned, from which Orm2 iii 225 supposed it included the other places. The shift of capital township could well be the result of the Mainwaring family's keeping house in Warmingham.
