, 1777 M , v. penn 1 ' hill ' , with ModE  dial. hurrock ' cairn, heap of stones ' ( as in Haddock Stones YW v, 58 , where the word occurs from 1290 ) ; here it refers to a circle of stones on a tumulus at grid 83 – 629104 ( cf. RCHM 90 ) .
