, the graung '1579Terrier , y egrainge 1601Terrier , the Grange 1636, 1652Rad ; this is apparently an example of the later use of grange ' a homestead,small mansion or farm-house ' , quoted from L in EDD s.v. 2 , cf. Croxton Grange PN L 2100 , but note that the Priory of St Leonard , Grimsby , held land in the parish .
