As with Belle Isle supra and Quebec Ho . infra , it was built after the Enclosure of 1760 and named in celebration of the reign of the Hanoverian King George II ( died 1760 ) and the victorious annus mirabilis of 1759 for Britain in the Seven Years War with France .
