In 1869 Hutch3 3555 there is reference to ' the hill above Ewerne , called Cheyne End ' , this probably corresponding to Chine Head 1618Map , v. cinu ' deep valley ' , ende , hēafod ; the valley in question may have been Brookman's Valley supra , or Romelles Deane infra .
