Professor Löfvenberg suggests an OE  pers.n. Ægen proposed in DEPN s.n. Eynsford for Eynsford K 39 , Eynsham O 258 ( but see Studies3 46 ) , Eynsworth Ess ( Ainsworth Ess 517 ) , Ainsworth La 53 . But the early spellings for the Ch p.n. indicate short a which tells against the analogy .
