But Professor Löfvenberg takes this and Snidley Croft (in Burland) 136supra to contain ModEdial. sniddle ' coarse grass, sedge ' , and a derivative adj . sniddl ( e ) y , noting the Ch dial . sniddle-bog ' a marsh where sniddle grows ' .
