, ' a place called the Wells inWoolston ' 1778EnclA , is called ocenne wyllas ' Ock springs ' in the charter - bounds of west Woolstone , v. Pt 3 . It was regarded as the source of the Ock till the 18th cent , at least , but modern maps give the name Ock to another head - stream .
