Choulden Lane (6″) is in the neighbourhood of (andlang ) chealfa dune 940 (14th) BCS 756. It is Chaldon in 1737 (Wilton ).'Calves' down,' cf. Chaldon (PN Sr 42). The name appears also in Cholen Barn (1773 A and D), the present Waterloo Bam supra 184.
