Etymology

This place-name has been fully discussed in PN Wa 228s. n. Wroxall. The first element is a lost OE  *wrocc , 'buzzard,' possibly in some cases used as a personal name. The second element is healh , 'angle, corner,' etc. Marsfeld is Marshfield (Gl).
