Etymology

'Middle farm,' v. tun . Perhaps so named because midway between Pewsey and Easton. William de Lilebone held the manor in 1236 (FF), Walter Lyllebon in 1278 (FF ) and William de Insula Bona in 1316 (FA). The family came from Lillebonne (Seine Inf.)
