Etymology

Conrish Fm (6″) is parco de Kunewyk 1268, Couewych , Couewiz 1281Ass , la Couewyche 1285MinAcct , la Conewich , atte Conwich 1300 Ipm (Hoare), Couewyche 1391 Pat, park of Meere al. le Couewich 1453 Pat, Couwych comon 1616Ct . This, with Cunnage Lane (leading to it), is from OE  cūna (gen. pl.) wīc 'cows' farm.' Some of the n 's have been wrongly transcribed as u 's.
